Cake Smash First Birthday SessionsContact Lynn to find out how you can have a 1st Birthday Cake Smash Portrait Session for your Child.
Being a photographer I must admit that one of my greatest honors is when I am asked to photography a newborn. After the newborn session Parents are invited to take advantage of several session throughout the year. This is so important because a baby will change so much and it is so wonderful to record each stage.
I know it is freezing cold outside right now and the last thing you are worried about is updating your little ones' portraits. Parents, I understand, but if you are thinking about finding a photographer or maybe I am your photographer already, let's get together. My new photography concept makes it easy for you to have fresh new portraits to celebrate a birthday or milestone. I now offer in home sessions. I can set up my little studio right in your home or I can shoot natural light lifestyle portraits which doesn't require much more than my camera and lens. No matter what it is your are looking for I would love to work with you to create images you will love. So feel free to contact me and we can start thinking about how I can help you get that milestone portrait before time slips by. So Noah's Mommy and I have this quest to try and photograph Noah every month for his first year. We are going to try to keep close to that the best we can. He is such a handsome boy that he makes my job so easy. Noah's Mommy is helping me with different themes for each session and this one was Noah's 2 month session which is in July so she brought a flag for us to incorporate into his shoot. Noah is such a happy baby and I love having this opportunity to photograph his first year baby portraits.
![]() Wedding Photography is probably one of my most loved events to photograph. I am blessed to have years of wedding photography under my belt and each wedding is such a wonderful experience. My memories are filled with moments I will find hard to forget. I have to admit if I had an album of every wedding to enjoy, over all the years I have been a photographer, I probably would remember far more of the special moments. I offer budget packages that only include the digital files but I strongly advise that my clients purchase an album package. Digital files are just expected these days while the wedding album is cut from the budget. From my experience, rarely do I hear from clients who want to add an album after the wedding. What does that mean? They just get too busy. They think they will get around to ordering one themselves with some online photo lab. I don't know. Having an album to pull out and view of the most important day in your marriage is priceless and should not be cut from any wedding budget. So when you are planning your wedding day keep this in mind as you are making decisions on what to keep in the budget and what to leave out. The wedding album should be a priority for every couple no matter the budget. Have more questions or looking for a wedding photographer? Just give me a call. I would be happy to help. Last week I wrote about a new baby session and I mentioned that we had an earlier maternity session. This week I thought I would share a few of my favorite images from that session. When we discussed what we wanted to create while planning this session, Mom had some great ideas. We had planned on an outdoor session but when the time came the weather did not cooperate, so we ended up doing a studio session. She had ordered the perfect dress online and made sure she had coordinating shirts for her Husband and Son. Her long flowing dress was just perfect and was so flattering. I was so excited that she took part in the planning of our session. I tried to keep that style with their newborn session so that the images would flow when displayed in their home. My clients love to display Lifetime images at home and appreciate that they are the finishing touch that make a home theirs. I am so blessed that they trust me to help to create images that they will treasure for a lifetime.
One of the most rewarding parts of my life as a photographer is meeting clients like this little family. I was Dusty and Matt's wedding photographer which was such and honor. Matt's son, Cameron, was included in the ceremony that day so they were a family of 3. This year, when Dusty was expecting, she asked me if I would photograph their maternity images, and again I was so happy to do so. We talked about when they should plan on the newborn session since Noah was due soon. I explained most photographers recommend to book your newborn portrait session within the first 10 days after birth. That is the best time to get those newborn sleeping baby portraits that are so popular today. I wanted to stress that it is really what you want and if those type of images were not important to you that you could wait and just get a few classic images when you were ready, we didn't have to do it right away. So last weekend we met when they were ready and I got to meet Noah and create these beautiful images.
Children remind me of flowers. They are fresh and new like a flower bud waiting to bloom. Their skin so soft and perfect just like a flower petal. Their hair like silk. Like a flower we are amazed at their unique beauty. We nurture them with love and care. We treasure them and hold them close. Those little flower buds blooms into a flower like our children bloom into adults. It sounds so far away, but I promise you, from my own experience, childhood is a fleeting moment in time. I can help you remember their childhood with a portrait treasure that will become priceless to you in time. Years from now you will look back at your little flowers and remember how blessed you are to watch them grow. This is a great time of year to make time for a portrait session and a Lifetime Portrait.
